Gotta love the internet. Right now, I'm listening to Smashing Pumpkins, plugging in my new Zune, and reading about 50 webcomics.
Oh yeah, and I turned 18 yesterday.
Let's walk through that day, shall we? I got up and had an idyllic morning consisting of a shower, a bowl of unadorned Cheerios, and coffee. Flash from there at near-light speed

and I'm in Mannheim for the last day of Driver's Education. So I drive around a bit, fill out a tiny pile of paperwork, and head to the zoo.
Welcome to the Heidelberg Zoo, home of easily enraged tigers, fighting monkeys, a brand-new elephant house, baby chimps, and marmosets I am now sure think I'm related to Bear Grylls.

No, not that kind, the kind famed for drinking his own urine.

There you go. It's the second time on two separate occasions that a marmoset at that zoo tried to pee on me. It's not pleasant. At least I convinced them to interact and, before the urination, got to touch one on his little feet.

D'AAAAAAAAW! Anyway, I also managed to make a tiger angry simply by growling loudly and knowing a tiny bit of animal psychology. It reared up several times and then I realized after a while, one of two things would happen if I kept it up: 1, the tiger would become sufficiently angry enough that he would find a way to disregard the fence or 2, the zookeeper would kick me out. I instead decided to leave the tiger alone.

It was still fun. Anyway, I stopped for lunch and enjoyed delicious gyros and fries while watching two monkeys arbitrarily fight. It was odd, they'd latch onto each other hard, then completely let go and chase each other for a bit, then just sit and watch each other. Repeat Ad infinitum.
After that I had to work, so it was LIBRARY TIME!

No, Library time!

That's better. Ok, so boring work day, boring dinner, then go home, A WILD PRESENT APPEARS!
Happily tearing into my spoils of war, I found 2 (two) Legend of Zelda games, incuding Twilight Princess on the Wii

and OCARINA OF TIME 3D. It. Is. Awesome.

it is graphically amazing, the 3D feels real, but not forced, the controls are smooth, and the experience is very fresh, which is surprising of a remake. I wonder why they never called Ocarina one of the first Sandbox games, when you get down to it, it kinda is...

Anyway, that was awesome.
I then got Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC, giving me the multiplayer I so craved for the Xbox version while robbing me of fluidity since it's the laggiest chunk of lag I've seen in some time. Oh well, as long as I can play well enough without being a liability to my team OH WAIT... either way, versus will always rock. I can get rid of my 360 copy now though, and I've got The Passing and The Sacrifice to play still! Woo!
Then finally I got a Zune. I can't say much about it yet since I'm still setting it up, but it seems promising if a bit redundant compared to the things I've already got... I wish I could LOCK THE DAMN THING, but every time I do, it just waits a minute and then restarts itself

...
And finally, Recap Attack: internets rock, Driver's ed, the zoo, Zelda aplenty, L4D2, Zunes.
